Abbie wanted to leave a little treat out for the fairies that night. We took little squares of bread ("cut the crust off mommy, in case they don't like it"), and put some honey on it. (I let the kids do this part, but told them not too much, because fairies don't like getting their wings sticky). Abbie had the idea of adding raspberries. All served it on a rock plate, and with a half-walnut of milk to wash it down. We put it on a patch of moss, so they'd have a soft place to sit while resting from the night's festivities and enjoying their snack.
Hopefully, though, the fairies have a sense of humor and don't mind sharing...
