My Spotted Box!

A couple weeks ago, my friend Betsy asked me if I would help her stalk a Spotted Box. They go pretty fast as they only stock them once a month. Well, apparently we are both speedy shoppers as we each ended up with one.
(For those not familiar with Spotted Boxes, you can check out the website here. It's a box of samples and goodies from tons of super-talented Hyena Cart vendors, all packaged together. It's completely "grab bag" style, so you never know what you are going to get!)

Here's a list of all the shops included in my box, as well what I received: 2 Cute 2 Resist – purple cloth napkin A.F.E.W. Natural Changes – recycled gift tag Baby Bird Bath Works – citrus sunrise soap Bellies, Babies ‘n More – Little Monster baby powder sample Butterfly Buggas – working man natural soap sample Butterfly Scentsations – grapefruit bath salt sample Clear Hills Honey Co. – beeswax lipbalm samples Closet on Queen Creek – embroidered flour sack kitchen towel Crochet Frog – flower pin Fluff and Stuff – fuzzy blue cloth wipe I’m Pretty Boutique – pink hairbow Joyful Rose - $5 gift card Kickshaw Confections –butterscotch lollipop Little Bo Peep Knits – $5 gift certificate Little Lambs and Ivy Boutique – travel I-Spy bag Melinda’s Lotions & Potions – jasmine lotion sample Momma’s Soy Tart Mart – Baby Bee Buttermilk soy wax tart Munchkin Wear – 25% off gift certificate My Beautiful Girl - thank you card with fabric scraps Nohea Knits –toddler hat Polkadotted Pickle – bracelet Princess Julianne’s Closet – flaxseed Owie Bag Scrappy Girl – purple gift tag Simply Heaven Lollipop Shoppe –strawberry lollipop Small Moments – flower photograph Sunshine Wishes – $5 gift certificate

Both kids LOVE the mini I-Spy bag. I'm going to get a couple full-size ones to keep on hand for car rides, long lines, appointments, etc. The Owie Bag is really nice as well. I just ordered some flaxseed in bulk to make a few myself (as with 2 toddlers, there are plenty of boo-boos!). I haven't had the chance to try out any of the soap or body samples, but they all smell wonderful.

Honestly, when I first realized that Betsy had also snatched a Spotted Box, I was going to cancel my order. I thought $22 was a bit pricey for just a bunch of samples. But, I'm glad that I purchased one. I absolutely love surprises, and it was so much fun going through the box. I received things for myself (definitely will be using that bath salt!), the kids, and for the baby, things to save as gifts, as well as things I'll be passing along as freebies with my Enchanted Dandelions packages. It's going to take a lot of willpower to resist purchasing one next month, but this definitely won't be the last time I get one.
