Last week, we went fishing with a few of our friends. The kidlets had a blast! Lots of mud, gooey worms, slimey fish- a kid's paradise!
We bought Abbie her first fishing pole. It's Shrek, but eh, it was on sale. We would cast it out for
her, and before we could turn around, she would have done reeled it back in. And repeat. It was cute, though, because she was so serious about it. And she even caught a fish! Well, with help. I hooked one on my line, and let her reel it in (since she's so good at that part LOL). She was carrying it around, showing everybody her "issh", and even gave it a goodbye kiss before tossing it back. Isaiah spent most of the evening hanging out in the mei tai, to keep him from crawling right in the lake. He did have fun, toddling after lightning bugs with the rest of the gang, though.
All the way home, Abbie kept saying "Azee isshing. Fun! Azee biiiig issh! Bye Bye issh"
