Peanut Butter on a Stick

When I asked Abbie what she wanted for breakfast, she said peanut butter. (Well, that's what she meant. She actually says it like plbplbplb-ter... I can't spell it, it's more of a tongue-waggle than a word. ) However, we are out of bread. And crackers. And apples. And celery. And every other thing I could possibly imagine PB would taste halfway good on. So, in early morning mommy's-not-awake-and-doesn't-want-to-deal-with-a-tantrum-before-I've-had-my-coffee desperation, I grabbed a spoon and scooped some PB on it. Abbie's quite happily walking around, licking her peanut butter on a stick. No mess, no fuss. Just a happy kid. Good thing there was a sale on Naturally More peanut butter a couple weeks ago. A big jar for just a $1. I bought quite a few, since it's all natural with no hygrogenated oils, plus it has added wheat germ, flax seed and honey. Very yummy! (Although, next week, I'll be sure to stock up crackers to put it on!)

Yes please... no tantrums before 8am. That would be nice.

My 22-month-old has started to fling herself dramatically on the floor crying "oh NO! oh NO!" ... where DO they learn this stuff?!

That is too cute. I'll keep that in mind for the next time our pantry is bare!
