This past weekend, we visited a local rural airport, as they hosted the annual Shenandoah Valley Ultralight and Light Sport Flight Festival. It was so awesome being able to get so close to the planes, watching them take-off and land.
(This plane was actually taxiing down along the runaway, gearing up to take off again.)

What fun, brings back memories ... my grandfather always took me to plane shows -- what lovely memories!
Seeing things through the eyes of children is so neat. How fun to watch the airplanes.
