Backyard Campfire

Last weekend, my mom and sister came over to visit. They had brought up some vegetarian hot dogs and baby portabella mushrooms, so we decided to build a campfire in the backyard!

They arrived right before Isaiah's naptime, so I let him skip it. I guess he was tired, though, and decided to take a nap anyways, right outside on my lap!

We just used a couple rocks and cinderblocks that were laying around to make a fire circle. Since this was so much fun, though, I hope to make a more permanant firepit to use for future backyard campfires.
