This sums up Abbie perfectly. She may like dressing up in pink frills and lace, but she's still a nature-loving outdoorsy girl through and through!

Love this one of Isaiah, as he was in such a good mood that day. Wasn't too many of those back then, unfortunately. (age 8 months)

My first dandelion bouquet...

You can keep your long-stemmed roses... I just received my first dandelion bouquet. It was delivered by a chubby, grubby hand, complete with a personalized message ("Here mommy. These flowers for you."). They got a little squished- Abbie insisted that I carry them in my pocket (so I wouldn't "lose dem"). As if it weren't obvious, LOL, I love dandelions. One of my favorite flowers, because Nature gives them to us so freely. I just don't understand why or how people are willing to spend tons of money to dump chemicals all over their lawns just to get rid of dandelions. What is more cheerful than little orbs of sunshine dotting your yard? A simple reminder of the simple pleasures.
