Major props to my Thrifty Goddess Grandma!

My grandma is the queen of thrift stores, master of yard sales. I bow down to her. If you need something, ANYTHING, chances are, she'll find it gently-used, but at a fraction of the original price. I could list example after example of all the awesome finds she has found, but my time is limited (Oliver is sleeping, which is something he hasn't been doing a lot of lately).

I did want to show off this quilt she picked up at a church tag sale for $2.

Upon closer inspection, it's quilted entirely by hand! Makes me a little sad, knowing that someone obviously put a LOT of time making this quilt, probably for a special little one in their life, and it ended up in a rummage sale. But then again, at least the quilt is being used, and isn't sitting in a basement or in the garbage, going unloved.
