I angrily stomp into the living room, muscles tensed, as I open my mouth to yell "WHAT ARE YOU GUYS GETTING INTO NOW?!", but before I can get out the first word, this is what I find...
I watch them in silence a few minutes, before tiptoeing back into the computer room, tears streaming down my face. It's so easy to fall into the habit of always assuming the worst, and I've been so quick to anger lately. I quietly took this picture so I could look at it whenever I feel myself getting stressed out. There are many challenges to having two young children so close in age, but there are many, many benefits as well. One of them is being able to see unconditional love in action, time and time again.

Despite the fights, they remain each others' best friends...same with my children... so sweet!
my children are 14 months apart and I know they are going to be a handful, but they already show that same kind of love. 20 month old and a 6 month old
Wow. Beautiful and poignant. I'm glad you shared this - I tend to do the same thing. Assuming the lack of screaming means something awful has happened.
thanks for the reminder.
So Cute!!
Been there... I think it's delivered just when I need a reminder that I not only love these kids, but I do like them too :)
We all have done it!!! I and you feel like crap afterward for assuming the worst, but, lets be honest 98% of the time they ARE doing something they have NO BUSINESS doing!! LOL
Cute pic they look like little angels!!!
That is so, so sweet!
dawwwwwww, bless their cotton socks (and snuggle rugs)!

Those are the moments i love. When my 2 are snuggling together and actually acting like they really like each other. Great shot!
AWWWW! That's too cute! I fear the "dreaded" silence too. LOL! The dd is always up to something...too bad I can't find her asleep like that.

absolutely beautiful and thank you so much for sharing this! I am glad I found your blog and I am now a subscriber. Looking for others that are like-minded.
oh my, that story and beautiful pic brought tears to my eyes. lucky momma, lucky kids.
I have been there! I think they are up to something and they are asleep! What a beautful sweet picture. I love seeing my children sleeping.
I once went screaming all through the house checking toilets, windows, yelling outside and finally found my little one sound asleep somewhere: my bed, behind furniture, the top bunk in the big sister's room... Terrifying and huge relief. It's happened enough that I check for a sleeper sooner LOL
How sweet, I'm sure they will glad you have this picture to share later!
