Down by the river...

Yesterday, we took the kids down to the river to splash around. They had so much fun throwing rocks in the water, watching the dragonflies flitter about, throwing rocks in the water, kicking and splashing... did I mention throwing rocks in the water? Seems like that's a universal kid-favorite. No matter the kid, no matter the place... as long as you got something that can be thrown, no body of water can be resisted. (This would explain why Isaiah, when there were no more rocks within his reach, took off his shoe and pitched it into the stream. Watching Daddy splash after it as it floated away was pretty funny!)

Here are a few pictures I snapped. (Not too many as I was trying to balance both baby and camera, and didn't want to drop neither one in! *wink*)

Very sweet...wish we had a river nearby...well, there is one, but no shallow spot to wade in and it's a deep river and fast-flowing...

I was clicking around the blog-o-shere tonight. What a neat site. I love the pictures. We have a river nearby that or family goes to at least twice a month. I have many pictures that I have taken there.

I just wanted to stop and say hi.
